Ingredients;
Tap water;
Potassium Hydroxide;

Flower oil;

Goggles;

Gloves;

Sauce Pan;
Lye;

Coconut oil.

Wear gloves so that it doesn't splash on you. To protect your eyes, put on safety goggles. If this thing touches your skin, it could be deadly. Mix potassium hydroxide and water, and give it a stir around to make sure that it is completely dissolved. As this dissolves, it does let off some fumes. So it is better to do it in a ventilated room, and don't stand over it breathing all the fumes in. You can stir, and when you are certain there are no 'hard' components in there, that means it is fully dissolved, and you will see some steam coming off. That means it is very hot. So you tuck that to one side.

Now get your coconut oil into the sauce pan. I personally use 128 grams of coconut which gives me roughly a liter of liquid soap which we are going to convert into shampoo. Put it on heat and leave it melting. Coconut oil is soft oil, so it doesn't take very long to melt. Now you add the 2 liquid oils. They help cool down the hot coconut oil. Make sure you get every residue of the thick Castro oil that wants to cling to side of its container. A last residue of the sun flower oil, and now you are ready to add lye, so u put on your goggles.

At first u just put a bit of lye in case there is any reaction. If the ingredient is hot, it will start fisting in there which isn't nice to deal with. If there is no fisting, then it’s safe enough to add all of the potassium lye and now stir it. What you need is to get this thicken up. Thicken up so you can almost stand to spoon in it. That could take 2-3 hours of stirring. You could speed up the process by using a hand-held blender. It will probably take about 20 minutes to get to the next stage, but start the process off.

About a half hour later, the soap paste should be ready to go on the heat. It should be thick, shiny and glossy. Put it onto the heat and get it melting. So now, you should have a lovely thick paste, all you need to do now is dilute it. Cover it with cold water, but you can add hot water at this stage. That needs to go back on the cooker to soften, because when you look at it, it’s like trying to stir chewing gum into water. You move the paste around, but you need to soften it so that it dissolves into the water. Put it on heat, and leave it for 12 hours so that it softens into soap.

After the soap paste has dissolved into water, take out 300 milliliters of water and pour it into a jug, and add other ingredients to make the liquid soap into a shampoo. I add 2 ingredients. One is Panthenol which is a vitamin b5 and what that does is to give a shiny hair, and I also put protein which makes my hair nice and soft. Now the shampoo is ready to use.
